Overview

With the Compare Prices per Brand view, you can easily compare brand pricing across your market. This tool provides a comprehensive view of how different brands' product prices compare, offering a valuable perspective on competitive positioning and market dynamics.

You can use this view for:

  • Identify Market Positioning: Analyzing how your brands' prices compare to those of competitors can help you better understand your market positioning and make better strategic adjustments in pricing, promotions, and product offerings.

  • Competitive Benchmarking: Identifying in which brands your products are priced above, below, or on par with your competitors provides you with the data needed to make more informed pricing decisions.

Where to find

To access this feature, go to Analytics > Compare Prices per Brand in the left sidebar.

What You See

On this page, you’ll find both a graphical representation and a detailed table, providing a clear view of how products in different brands compare in terms of pricing:

  • Graph: A bar chart visualizes the number of products under each brand, segmented by pricing status: cheaper, equal, or overpriced. This allows for quickly identifying how each brand's pricing compares across the market.

  • Table: Below the graph, a detailed table lists all the brands and the number of products categorized under cheaper, equal, and overpriced labels. The table provides granular data that can be filtered and sorted for a deeper dive into specific brands, shops and categories.

How to Use

Graph

Overview Brand Pricing: The bar chart at the top visually displays the number of products per brand segmented into three categories: cheaper (green), equal (light blue), and overpriced (purple). This helps you quickly see how different brands compare pricing across various products.

Hover for Details: By hovering over any part of the chart, you can view the exact number of products per shop that fall into each pricing category for each brand. This gives you a quick snapshot of competitive pricing dynamics.

Filter by Brands, Shops, and Categories: You can refine the data displayed by selecting specific brands, shops, or categories from the drop-down menus above the chart. This allows you to tailor the analysis to your specific needs, focusing only on the brands and products relevant to your needs.

Table

Brand Breakdown: Below the chart, you’ll find a detailed table that lists all the brands along with the number of products categorized under cheaper, equal, and overpriced labels. This table allows for a more granular analysis of how each brand's products are priced compared to the competition.

Search and Sort: Use the search boxes below each column header to quickly filter the data by brand or pricing category. You can also sort the columns to see, for example, which brands have the most overpriced or cheapest products.

Show All Products: To view a detailed list of products under each brand, click on the "Show" button in the table's last column. This will expand the list, allowing you to see all the products under the selected brand.

How to Download the Data

If you need to present this data externally or analyze it with other tools, you can easily export the entire dataset as a CSV file. This allows for further analysis and integration with other systems, ensuring that you have all the information you need at your fingertips.
