Overview

This guide will help you create an account, upload your products, and select the shops you wish to monitor.

Register

You can create your account by filling in your email and password or authenticating through your Google or LinkedIn accounts.

Shops to Monitor

The shop selection page is the first thing you see when you register for a new account.

Firstly, select the marketplace by clicking on the logo and then pick the country from the dropdown menu.

Next, you have two options regarding how the system will process your own prices.

My shop is included in the selected marketplace

If you're already a seller/merchant in your chosen marketplace, you can confirm your status during the setup process. At a later stage, you will select your merchant name and your prices will get automatically updated to match those of the selected seller.

My shops is not included in the selected marketplace

In that case, you will have to insert your prices manually, along with your products. Your prices will be updated when you upload a new file in the system.

After selecting the marketplace, country, and price update type, click "Next" to move on to the final step.

Import Products

Before you import your products into tgndata:

Step 1: Prepare Your Product File

The first step is to compile all the necessary product information into a single file. Our platform accepts files in .xlsx or .csv formats.

To ensure you format your product data correctly, you should download our product template by clicking on the "Download sample file" button and fill it in with your data.

This template serves as a blueprint, showing how to arrange your product data to match the platform's requirements. This is what the product template looks like:

Note: You can find the template guidelines here. These guidelines will explain each field in the Product Template, helping you understand what information is needed and how to format it correctly.

Step 2: Upload Your Product File

After filling in the product template and reviewing the guidelines, head to the "Upload Products" section and upload your file. Drag and drop it into the designated box or click to select the file from your computer.

You can also import your products from your e-commerce platform. Just click on the logo of your platform to see the detailed guide.

Step 3: Column Mapping

Now you've uploaded your file, you need to map each column header to the correct tgndata field.

To map your file column headers to the corresponding tgndata fields, use the drop-down menus for each unmapped column and select the tgndata field.

Please make sure that you keep the "Uploaded file included headers on first row" ticker if your file has headers.

Note: SKU, EAN, Brand, and Name are mandatory fields.

When you complete your mapping click "Confirm and Continue" to move to the final step.

Step 4: Products Preview

In this last step, you will be prompted to review the information presented in the uploaded file.

Check the final results about the products that have required or optional missing information. You can also see your plan's product limit.

If there are any errors found you will see a warning message below. Red color for required information and yellow for optional.

If you wish you can make changes or revisions to the data:

  • Use the quick filters to see only the missing information

  • Exclude products from the list with the "Include to Account" checker

  • Edit the information for each line with the "Edit Row" button

When you are ready click the "Finish" button to complete the setup of your account.
