Overview

Keeping your product list up-to-date is essential, as accurate product information ensures that the comparisons and analyses are relevant and reliable. This guide will walk you through updating your monitored products on the platform with any new information, such as adding new products or changing existing data.

Where to find

Navigate to Personal settings > Manage shops & products in the top right corner.

How to update your products

Upload file

Click on the Manage Products tab in the middle and choose the Upload file option.

From here, you can either download, edit your latest file, and reupload it with all the changes you made or upload a new file with the updated information directly.

If you want to use an XML file to update your products, you can insert your URL link directly.

Note: Please note that this form operates on an overwrite basis, so ensure you add your full product list each time you submit.

Map fields

Now you've uploaded your file, you need to map each column header to the correct tgndata field. To map your file column headers to the corresponding tgndata fields, use the drop-down menus for each unmapped column and select the tgndata field.

Please make sure that you keep the "Uploaded file included headers on first row" ticker if your file has headers.

Note: SKU, EAN, Brand, and Name are mandatory fields.

When you complete your mapping click "Confirm and Continue" to move to the final step.

Review products

In this last step, you will be prompted to review the information presented in the uploaded file.

Check the final results about the products that have required or optional missing information. You can also see your plan's product limit.

If there are any errors found you will see a warning message below. Red color for required information and yellow for optional.

If you wish you can make changes or revisions to the data:

  • Use the quick filters to see only the missing information

  • Exclude products from the list with the "Include to Account" checker

  • Edit the information for each line with the "Edit Row" button

When you are ready click the "Save settings" button to complete the setup of your account.

How long does it take?

After you completed the process it takes some time for our systems to import the new products and fetch data from the marketplace/shops you monitor. You will see a bar at the top stating the completion progress and the estimated time of completion.

All product changes will be processed by our system between 04:00 and 05:00 CET.
