Overview

You can leverage the feature to gain insights into the timing of your monitored shops' price changes, enabling you to identify patterns and discover the most active times for market pricing updates.

Where to find

To access the view, navigate to Analytics>When price changes mostly happen from the left sidebar.

What you see

On the page, you can see an interactive graph and a corresponding table.

  • Graph: Shows the distribution of price changes throughout times of the day, with the ability to choose the shops and the time range (e.g., last seven days). The graph is color-coded to distinguish between price increases and decreases.

  • Table: Below the graph, there's a table that details the exact number of price changes that occurred at each hour of the day, further divided into increased and decreased to show the direction of the price change.

How to use

Graph

  • Analyzing the Graph: Hovering over the chart, you can see the number of price increases/decreases for each time point across all shops and products.

  • Select Shops: Determine which shops you wish to analyze in the drop-down menu. The chart information will be updated based on your selection.

  • Time Period: Specify a specific time period for the results to view data from the last 24 hours up to 30 days before.

Table

In the table, there are five columns where you can find:

  • Hour of Day: The specific time when the changes took place

  • Total changes: The number of changes that took place at that time

  • Increased: The total number of price increases at that time

  • Decreased: The total number of price decreases at that time

  • Show All Products: Clicking on the eye button will show you all the products for the specific time.

You can also sort each column by name.

Below each header, you can find a search box to quickly filter the data in each column.

If you wish to increase the number of visible entries, click on the "Show entries" dropdown menu.

You can drill down by clicking on a time point, and you will be presented with all the data for this specific time.

You can further drill down to see more information about a specific shop by clicking on the shop's name.

From there, you can once again drill down to the category level until the actual product names by clicking on the category name.

How to download the data

If you need to present the data outside the tgndata platform, you can export a CSV file with all the information for more detailed analysis and integration with other tools/systems.
